I studied Midwifery at AUT University in Akoranga and have worked with Linda and Helen throughout my training and since I have graduated. I am a born and bred Westie and love living here in beautiful Waitakere. I have a daughter, Jyannah, who was born in 2004. I had a fabulous midwife who inspired me to start on my journey of looking after women and their families during a very special time in their lives.
Prior to becoming a midwife, I have worked mainly in health administration. Firstly within the setting of education, and then with a Primary Health Organisation. However, I enjoy the challenges presented to me by being involved in the childbirth experience. I see pregnancy as a holistic and natural life event, although I do appreciate that no two pregnancies or births are the same, and therefore happy to work with you to make a plan to suit you and your family.
